The CCDA certification (Cisco Certified Design Associate) indicates a foundation or apprentice knowledge of network design for the Cisco Internetwork Infrastructure. CCDA certified professionals can design routed and switched network infrastructures involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services for businesses and organizations.

CCDA Prerequisites CCNA level knowledge is needed to prepare for the CCDA certification exam.
CCDA Exams & Recommended Training Required Exam(s) Recommended Training 640-861 DESGN Designing for Cisco Internetwork Solutions ( DESGN )
CCDA Recertification CCDA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass the current certification exam, a Cisco Qualified Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or any Professional level exam bearing a prefix 642 .
